For multinational company, in the HO.RE.CA. sector, we are looking for

CHANNEL MARKETING MANAGER – Italy

Posizione

- To draw the strategic medium/long term plan for Channel in Italy, according to the EU blueprint and in line with the Channel Sales Leader.
- To define and agree marketing and trade marketing activities for channel supporting salesforce and Customers towards business development.
- To build a strong and extensive network within the sales team being capable of driving support activities towards achievement of sales & profit targets.
- To support distribution partners and their sales force, especially all key players, in transferring our Value down the chain to Customers by doing value selling.
 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Draws the annual marketing plan for channel, including business development activities agreed with Channel Sales Leader
- Develops operative and trade marketing activities for all Channel Customers
- Plans and manages introduction of new product lines
- Supports sales force in field activities for partner Customers both with marketing and trade marketing activities
- Is proactively responsible for both sell-in and sell-out opportunities maximization
- Manages given budget according to specific needs
- Is fully responsible for managing Channel pricing policies and particularly:
- Aims at protecting channel profitability
Aims at implementing pricing policies supported by internal stakeholders (Customer Service front and back office)
- Implements pricing according to EU blueprint
- Defines new pricing metrics to support new business development
- Is proactively analyzing Channel performance KPIs to all extent down to a Customer level to make sure corrective actions are in place for any issue
- Grants robust and consistent market analysis, both at Customer and geographic level, to provide useful input to business plans
- Supports salesforce in category management activities towards improving internal and external operational efficiency
- Acts as connector between the OpCo, the marketing team and the sales team but also acts as a stakeholder to Customers to grant process optimization and strategy implementation.

Requisiti

KEY REQUIREMENTS

University degree, preferrably marketing
3-5 years’ experience in either sales or marketing roles
Planning and coordination capabilities
Result-oriented, leadership and team-working capabilities
Easily works with numbers and KPIs for profitability
Frequent traveler (Italy and sometimes Europe)
High computer skills and good knowledge of digital communication levers
Fluent written and spoken english
